  • Anchored Podcast Ep. 184: Karen Brooks on Fly Fishing in Tasmania

    14/05/2021/i Podcast /af April Vokey
    https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/anchoredwithaprilvokey/Anchored_With_April_Vokey-Episode_184-Karen_Brooks-anchoredoutdoors.com.mp3

Karen Brooks is a guide and outfitter based in Tasmania, Australia. She and her husband, Peter, share a unique story in that they both started guiding later in life upon finding matching drift boats for sale in North America. On this episode of Anchored, Karen and I enjoy a light conversation about fishing for trout in Tasmania, loch-style fishing, what it’s like to start over and more.

Also, exciting news!  We’ve just finished editing a bunch of Anchored Outdoors Masterclasses, included Jet boating with Grant Wooldridge, Wilderness Survival with Tom Brown III and Raft Fishing with Yos Gladstone. Find them and more at courses.anchoredoutdoors.com

This episode is brought to you by Great Fishing Adventures of Australia. The diversity of Australia’s fishing experiences is as vast as the country itself. Great Fishing Adventures of Australia is the catch of Australia’s best fishing operators that have come together to collectively raise the profile of Australia as a world class fishing destination. No matter what the season, Australia offers enthusiasts the opportunity to indulge in their passion and experience some of the world’s very best fishing, amongst some of the most naturally spectacular environments the world has to offer.  Discover your next fishing adventure by visiting Australia.com/fishing
