Après trois visites infructueuses sur le lac Sergent, j’ai enfin réussi à capturer un Maskinongé à la mouche hier soir. J’avais déjà eu l’occasion de prendre quelques belles prises avec ma canne à lancer léger mais je tenais vraiment à y arriver avec une mouche. Après avoir essayé plusieurs mouches différentes, c’est finalement une technique de pêche spécifique qui m’a permis de récolter mon tout premier Maski à la mouche. Je compte retourner au Lac Sergent bientôt pour pêcher l’achigan, je vous montrerai ça!

I finally manged to catch my first Muski on the fly. I had already been to this lake a few times it’s only a few minutes away from Québec city and no body fishes the lake so the fishing is pretty good. I am new at fly fishing for Muski and realized they are pretty picky when it comes to fly selection but after trying different techniques now i know how to catch them so there will be alot more to come from this lake.!!!!
