Fly Tying – Coho Coconut
Tying the new Twigg & Barry fly, the Coho Coconut. Inspired by the Boobie fly and some proven modern Coho flies, this pattern combines the best of both worlds for a change up fly. Put it on a full sinking line with a short, relatively heavy tippet. Wait until it sinks and then strip back aggressively. The fly floats and the sinking line pulls it down, providing an enticing action for the Coho as they sit near the bottom of their deep pools.
