Yellow CDL Matuka
The Matuka style of flies originates from New Zealand and unlike traditional feathe-winged flies, the Matuka flies are characterized by the feathers being secured with a rib along the hook shaft – this ensures a much more durable streamer and a narrow profile that imitates baitfish perfectly. In this video we again have the skilled Danish fly tyer and fly fisherman Christian Krogh behind the tyingvice to demonstrate a nice little imitation of i.a. sticklebacks and gobys which is an important food base in his local trout waters – both freshwater and saltwater.
