Tying a Topwater Kreelex

Step by step instructions for the top water Kreelex, a great top water bug for bass and other species. The cork bodies are a bit more work than foam, but the effect is worth it. Corks are available from Eastern Trophy Outfitters.

Hook: Mustad CK52S
Body: Painted Cork
Ballast: Lead wire (4″ x0.025 for a size 1)
Tail: krenik flash or Sybai Sparkle hair
Collar: H2O streamer brush
Coating: Epoxy
