If you love to spend all day casting, the Sage One spey rod could be the perfect choice. It’s Sage’s lightest rod, and also has a much thinner profile. You never feel like you’re fighting when casting this rod. After a long day of effortless fishing, you’ll really notice the difference.

The Sage One spey rod is a two handed option that’s manufactured with Sage’s Konnetic technology. This allows for a much narrower taper, and a more precise tip. The Sage One boasts decreased lateral movement, due to the additional strength of the shaft, which keeps you in touch with your line at all times.

Weight is important, but is nearly always secondary to casting smoothness. The shaft of the Spey One has increased torsional stability, which means it recovers much quicker than other rods. The result is an optimized line speed and load carry, allowing for smooth, reliable and long casts.
