Hollow surf candy – saltwater streamer

18/04/2019/i Bonefish - Permit fluer, Tarponfluer, Tropiske Saltvandsfluer, Video - Bonefish flies, Video - Permit flies, Video - Tarpon flies /af McFly Angler

I wanted to tie a surf candy, but with a little weight. However I didn’t want to use dumbbell eyes, or a cone head as that will change the look of the head of the fly. So I tried it with a bead, and something new came about! I am really excited about this pattern, the technique used here can be applied to a wide variety of flies and materials, but I really like it with this surf candy style fly. The bead helps flair out the materials and gives a wider profile to the fly.

I am excited to tell you all that I was able to get all my subscribers a 15% discount with Risen Fly. go to www.risenfly.com and add anything in their store to your cart. Then type in McFly at checkout and you will automatically get a 15% off.
