Rib – Fish On Silver Wire 0.14
Belly Flash – Perdigon Ribbing
Body – Troutstalkers Custom Blend -Any Yellowish dubbing will work
Hackle – Cock Grizzle
Wing – Elk Hair

The Elk Hair Caddis was probably one of the first dry flies I was introduced to when I took to fishing rivers. This was one of Graham Lumsdon’s favourite flies for the river. I have several variations on the theme in my box and they still get a swim every now and again.
