Ahrex – Grå Frede – by Jesper Lindquist Andersen
With a few simple materials you can create a lot – and “Grå Frede” is an excellent example of that. Danish Peter Løvendahl and Lars Meincke invented what must be called one of the most classic danish coastal flies for hunting sea run brown trouts along the coasts of Denmark. As such, the fly does not imitate anything specific, but perhaps that is why it can look like almost everything… Shrimps, sticklebacks, sculpins, gobys and a large number of other small prey fish are matched excellently by Grå Frede. In this video we once again have Danish Jesper Lindquist Andersen behind the tying-vice demonstrating this danish classic coastal fly.
