Don’t want to take time loading a bobbin with thread? Do you have some quality UV resin sitting around? Boom! You have the ability to tie up a fly. You could use a feather instead of the rubber leg, or really any material at all. Get creative! But this is a super quick, easy and cheap fly to tie for panfish that will catch fish left and right… bluegill, crappie and perch all will gobble this little fly up without a 2nd thought! And it’s versatile! So many different materials can be used for this. And the best thing is you could use scrap materials as well! Feather tips after tying a dry fly, or small scrap pieces of rubber leg, or small pieces of zonker strip that are unusable for other flies.
