Latex Organza Larva
A great caddis larva/pupa pattern for trout, grayling and other species. Winding the latex nymph skin and organza together, rather than the usual method of forming the body with latex and then ribbing with organza, allows the tyer to produce a smoothly segmented abdomen at the rear with organza fibres imitating gills further up the body of the nymph. Organza and latex both colour well with marker pens so it’s very easy to produce different coloured variants to suit the insects on your river.
