In this week’s episode of Tying Tuesdays, watch as Max ties the Rojo Midge! The Rojo Midge was designed by Greg Garcia and is available in the Umpqua Feather Merchants catalog. This is a great little pattern for western rivers when you’re looking for a bit of flash. I like it in sizes 16-20 in Olive, Black, and Red. This fly has also been super effective for me tied in red and black sized 12-16 for stillwater trout. I like fishing it close to the bottom in 8-12ft of water early in the season under an indicator.
