Fly Tying a Joe's Hopper (AKA Michigan Hopper)
The original Michigan Hopper was created by Art Winnie, a barber in Traverse City, MI sometime between 1920-1940. It was popularized by Joe Brooks in the 1940s and after a few slight modifications eventually became known as Joe’s Hopper.
