Arctic Goblin – UNDERWATER FOOTAGE – Pike Streamer – McFly Angler Fly Tying

This very large streamer tied on a 4/0 hook is made specifically for pike, but large bass would hit this as well. This fly moves really nicely in the water, and has a lot of flash and bright colors. Also being tied with craft fur, it flows really nicely when moving. To keep the craft fur tail from fowling up on the hook, I tied a bit of buck tail underneath it since buck tail is a bit more stiff. Also, I tied a bit of Unique hair in between the craft fur because it doesn’t hold water, and still adds lots of bulk without the weight. So you can tie this larger with it still staying cartable.

Also the bobbin I use is the rite bobbin, and I love it. You can adjust the tension much easier than the old fashioned bobbins. If you are interested in getting one, here is a link to them.

Also, the vice I use is the Anvil Atlas which is pretty nice for only $155. Honestly for the money, I think its the best vice on the market. Check it out here…
