The Tungsten Goldie is a trout fly pattern from Umpqua Fly Manager Brian Schmidt. The fly is heavily weighted with a tungsten bead and some lead wire. It’s a nice compact and stocky stone that will dive into deeper pockets to pick out the most reluctant trout. This heavy confidence fly is a great choice to use for your point fly.
