The not-so-boring Falk Fly
Created by Dale LaFollette of Oregon in 1945, and named for Leo Falk, this pattern is a great imitation of a big stonefly or even a grasshopper.

Tail: Golden pheasant tippets
Hackle: Grizzly
Body: Burnt orange floss
Wing: Deer hair
