Sighting Brown Trout in Tannic Water
Our hope is to dispel that you can’t sight-fish trout in tannic water. Sighting trout isn’t hard but you do have to know how to read water and know the tendencies of trout in slightly higher or tannic water. They are less shy and more likely to cruise softer pockets of water. Smudges, color, movement and more are clues to sighting brown trout in tannic or murky water in sun and cloud.
