Redfish Crack – Yeah, it catches more than just reds… – McFly Angler Saltwater Fly Tying Tutorials
Redfish are a fish that are tough on flies, so a redfish fly should be very durable. The redfish crack is an all synthetic take on the redfish slider, so it’s much more durable. This fly can withstand a pounding and still comes up looking great! And the fish love them. In fact, my friend Paul from the YouTube channel killer fuzz uses these in a smaller size to catch sunfish. Also I’ve used them for other saltwater species like speckled trout, and flounder. They fish a lot like a jigged fluke if you ever fish conventionally. And if so, you would know the soft plastic fluke is definitely a fish catcher!
So I couldn’t find any info on who the original tier of the fly is. If you know, please message me and I will put their info in this section of my video so I can give them the credit for an awesome fly.
