Rainbow Trout in Hawaii?

Created in 2018 for fishing a pool at the bottom of a waterfall in Kauai, Hawaii, this fairly generic nymph has done well for me here on the east coast as well.

Hook: #14-16 1x long
Thread: Black
Tail: Black hen hackle fibers
Rib: Thread, red and yellow
Body: Olive beaver, or any fur
Hackle: Black hen
