Olive Spider Wetfly
Once again we had the skilled flytyer and flyfisher Neil Darling behind the vice tying another one of his beautiful and elegant flies – Neil says about the fly: “The original idea to add “bling” and sparkle Spider patterns was shared with me by my friend Karl Humphries. Originally constructed to target trout picking off emerging nymphs stuck in the water film, this innocuous little fly has excelled both in lakes and rivers during different nymph hatches. It has also become the blue print for all my Bling Spider patterns. Great fun to tie and also a must for any fly box. ”
