KF Emerger, Tied by Juan Ramirez

Tied During the Midge Fly Tying Class on 11/20/09 at Ghillies Fly Shop. The KF Emerger is a great little Winter midge pattern. It was made famous on the San Juan River and has made it’s way to all the local tailwaters and is one of my favorite winter patterns. It also can be tied with a bead and I also tie it in a chocolate color.
