How to tie a Muskins Cruncher

Hook – Hanak H 230 BL #10
Thread – Veevus E04 8/0 red
Tail – Hen hackle fibres (Black)
Rib – Veniards No 27 Silver wire
Body – Pheasant tail dyed black
Red Thorax – Red holographic
Thorax – Peacock here dyed black
Hackle – Hen cape dyed black

Combining two of the best nymphs on the Stillwater scene the Muskins and the Cruncher. The best of both worlds, black and red is a lethal combination for trout but it does not have to stop at that. Try using UV wrap or green instead of the red and you won’t be disappointed with the results.
