Hardy SINTRIX 10' # 7 4 Piece Rod on the Hardy Test Rig

This is the destruction test on the Hardy Test Rig. Rods are deliberately taken to the point of failure to assess their strength. SINTRIX blanks are the first rods that we have been unable to break on the rig.

The best conventional carbon fibre blanks break with about 18 Newton’s of force. This SINTRIX 10′ #7 4 piece blank has survived taking the test rig to its maximum 32 Newton’s of force on 10 separate occasions so far without breaking.
