Fly Fishing Hatches – Caddisflies on a Brown Trout Stream
Our home province of Alberta, Canada is home to superb brown trout fly fishing. One of the staple hatches to fly fish is the caddisfly hatch that begins in late May and rolls through September. We traveled to fish one of Dave’s favorite brown trout streams, to hunt brown trout rising to caddisflies in heavy cover. This is a wonderful video as we both get in tight spots and do creative fly fishing casting caddisfly patterns at brown trout in impossible lies. It’s a fun day on a brown trout stream together!
