Caddis Emerger
Caddisflies are an important food source for the trout and grayling in many lakes and rivers – and other fish species, of course. The insects are a fine source of food and are often found in good quantities. Especially the hatching caddis can be a lumpy insect when it hangs and is about to break through the surface, and is easy prey for the fish. In this video we have had the Dutch fly tyer and fly fisherman Jan De Haas behind the vice to demonstrate his take on a hatching caddis.
