Black & Glow Pattegris
Fishing on the night during the summer period can be super exciting – and effective… One’s senses are improved, and here in Scandinavia it rarely gets completely dark, you will almost always be able to see movements in the water. Therefore, many coastal fly fishermen practice night fishing for eg searun-brown-trout with flies in or just below the surface. In this video we have teamed up with the skilled flyfisher and flytyer Jesper Lindquist Andertsen who has combined one of the most popular coastal flies, namely the Pattegrisen with elements from the most successful surface night flies. the color lends itself – at night the flies must be black, but this one has one small detail that entices the sea trout – namely glow-in-the-dark materials which light up in the summer night and really attrach the trouts and other predators.
