BB Nymph

The BB nymph is the first in a series of biot bodies flies that represent brown(ish) mayflies. Frequent throughout spring and late summer/early autumn, when the trout are keyed in on these, it’s hard to take them with anything else. Simple, cheap and quick to tie, this fly does a good job at representing the nymph. Use added splitshot to get it down fast and fish it close to the bottom when hatches aren’t apparent.
