Autumn Bait

Simple and effective is the keywords of danish guide, fly-fisher and tyer Jesper Lindquist Andersens flies – and if you are lucky to have a look inside his flybox, you will see some amazing flies (and an amazing amount of them) – all of them are tied with simple and effective in his mind. This small baitfish-fly called Autumn Bait is a great example of this – with only a few materials it is possible to make this well-looking imitation in a few minutes.

Body: Light Shade Rainbow dubbing
Wing: Polar fibre brush or Crafty Brush tan
Eyes: 3D Eyes
Gills and back are made with pink and olive markers
