Ascension Bay – Permit on The Fly

Check out some of the highlights from Trident’s 8-day trip to Ascension Bay, Mexico. We traveled from Pesca Maya to Grand Slam Lodge, La Pescadora, and finally The Palometa Club in search of big Permit and Bonefish on the fly. The stars aligned and Ben caught a personal best number of Permit in a single trip: 18. The hospitality was superior, the fly fishing unparalleled, and the weather sublime. Saltwater trips don’t get much better than this.
