Ahrex – Crazy Charlie
The Crazy Charlie is originally a fly for targeting bonefish – developed on Andros Island in 1977 in the Bahamas by local bonefish guide Charlie Smith and popularized by San Francisco angler Bob Nauheim. It is a must fly to have in the box when fishing the tropics, but it quickly turned out to be a brilliant pattern for fishing all over the world in both salt- and freshwater. In this video we have danish flyfisher and tyer Morten “Coastfly” Hansen behind the vice demonstrating his modern version of the all-time-classic.
